anyways uh, i skipped a couple of days due to being EXTREMELY busy (i made this drawing in the middle of a midterm exam. thats how crazy its been) so uhhh yeah hopefully i can get back on track soon enough,, ahahh

NPVs and Custom NPCs

NPVs were a thing in the making since way before I got ambushed by the very first Phantom Liberty trailer, and then after Phantom Liberty custom NPCs became a thing.

Custom NPCs were the first to get done and after figuring out how all that worked it made NPV'ing much *easier*. After tackling both I was able to then follow a framework and make custom scanner profiles for each

I wanna do a T-Bug and Dorsett replacer that gives them the netrunner's skulljack but its not super important to me rn

2. The "Netrunner" series

I'm working (in a loose definition of "working") on something set in 2080 that relates to my own takes on the Blackwall and just netrunning in general that I had to make gaudy graphics inspired by late 1980s to mid-1990s sci-fi/techno thriller/horrors.

The short synopsis is that netrunners are dropping dead and somebody in the NCPD goes to a certain hacker duo to help out.

3. General modding A lot of my OCs and custom NPCs have gone through changes, none more than my own characters: Veil and Ronnie. Although I feel like I'm winding down now on their appearances.

However I am considering going back to giving Veil the arm strapped computer and a right-shoulder guard again.

The biggest change I committed to was replacing the BD wreath with a "net conn" (or "T-Bug hat") that you can see netrunners and techies wearing sometimes. Although Veil's current hairdo obscures it it is now permanently attached to her illegally modified military infovisor as her substitute for cybereyes. I made my own lore for how it works too which I'll probably get around to dropping on here soon.

speaking of cybereyes I have plans on making my Scleral Graft a thing by modding one of the new eye colors added in 2.2. If I can get it to work it would bea replacer for the green eyes that Veil has. I dunno how challenging eye color modding is but as with everything I've done it'll be a case of "fuck around and find out"

=What is the Wolfbell Au?=

The au tells the story of The Star-Crossed Hero of Dreamland, Wolfbell. Who came crashing from a rift in the sky after the residents of Dreamland received a mysterious prophecy telling them the answer to their problem lies within Wolfbell. In a universe where Kirby is seemingly nowhere to be found, this amnesiac hero without a past takes his place and is thrown into a doomed destiny to defeat Nightmare and stop Nightmare Enterprises.

The au serves as a means to indirectly tell my story, as many of the themes and some of the struggles the characters face are struggles I have faced myself or are still currently facing.

For that reason, I caution younger viewers or viewers sensitive to dark or disturbing topics to tread with caution.

After applications closed at the end of April, the tournament ran from May 10th, 2024 to October 28th, 2024, just a few days shy of six months! During this time...

★ 143 competitors joined the tournament and made friends ★ 1,813 Propaganda posts were made by the community supporting those competitors, and reblogged to the @kirbyoctournament blog ★ 202 polls were made pitting your favorites against each other ★ across those polls, 43,165 votes were cast ★ and of all these, winners starstruck dee and Rope MF received 1179 votes and 699 votes respectively over the course of the event

★ RANDOM STATS

★ 36% (52) of entered OCs were of the "orb" species, with 33 of those taking up the mantle of "knight" specifically. far and away the most represented species ★ Waddle dees were the next most common entrant, with 17 OCs. ★ Ripple Fairies were the least showcased non common-enemy/custom species type, with only a single representative! ★ Of all OC names, "S" was the most common initial at 16 OCs, a statistic we do feel is influenced by the frequency of "sir" before names. Removing those, it was the letter "A", with 13. ★ The least successful initial was the letter "J", with all but one of their 4 representatives (75%) falling in the first round.

★ PROPAGANDA WITH THE MOST CHARACTERS INCLUDED most tournament characters included in a single piece (or single series) of propaganda
